Our personal trainers are not only fitness professionals.  Many of our trainers have additional degrees either as Registered Nurses, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Kinesiology Masters, Rehabilitation Specialists, Reiki Therapists, and/or Reposturing Therapists.  Individually and together as a team, we create a better working knowledge of the body and mind in bridging the gap between health and fitness.  Our multifaceted team is passionate about combining mainstream and alternative approaches to bring you an integrative fitness program personalized specifically to you!

JAMIE McKEVITT BSN, RN

Owner, Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Personal Trainer & Group Instructor

Working as a personal trainer while completing my Bachelors Degree in Nursing at University of San Francisco, I came to a realization that we MUST be proactive and not reactive with our health!  This led me to discover my own nitch that combined my medical knowledge with that of my personal training skills, creating an integrative approach to health and fitness.  I am VERY passionate about what I do and I take pride in helping people get healthier!  In addition to working with clients with specific medical concerns, I also specialize in nutrition and weight management.

My decision to become a personal trainer came from the value I place on people.  From a very young age I was fortunate to come across some of the best coaches and personal trainers in the world who taught me so much.  They gave me direction, inspiration, and a wealth of knowledge that I teach my clients with everyday.  I place this same value on the people I meet today and also wish to offer them the direction, inspiration, and all the knowledge that I have been blessed with in my life.

DAVID BERNAVICH

At the age of 15, I was first introduced to personal training, when my mom got me setup with a local trainer. At that time I was struggling with my weight and self esteem, and I was ready for a CHANGE. My experience with personal training totally changed my life. In a few months I started looking better, feeling better, had more energy, and a new found confidence. I then knew that it was my calling to help other people change their lives through health and fitness. In 1998, at the age of 19, I became a personal trainer. It has been my passion ever since; to help spread the word of health and fitness throughout the Peninsula and Bay Area. I have trained hundreds of clients ranging from ages10-90, from all walks of life, and goals from weight loss to Sports Performance. I've been a coach/trainer for over ten years and an athlete for most of my life. The constants have been my desire to learn and to share that knowledge and passion. MATTHEW TRUSCOTT

ANYTHING can change. You can train any facet of your life to change it towards a goal that you want. Anything is trainable and achievable. When training the body, it should be challenged as ONE working system. There are strengths and weaknesses to this system. Train the weaknesses to enhance both. Love the process and the mini victories along the way.

As a lifelong athlete, training has always been a part of my life. I learned at an early age what it took to attain goals that I had set for myself. In college I participated in football and track while studying for an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Despite multiple injuries, I was able to play at a level for NFL consideration. In 2007 while interning at the Reikes Center in Menlo Park, I discovered I have a talent for personal training and coaching. It was at this time that I found fulfillment in watching others grow.
